Will JD Vance be elected President of the United States in 2028?

Market Rules

This market will resolve to "Yes" if JD Vance is elected President of the United States in the 2028 U.S. presidential election. Resolution will be based primarily on the official results declared by the Federal Election Commission (FEC), and other official U.S. government sources such as state certifications aggregated by the National Archives. If JD Vance is the winner of the Electoral College and is therefore the President-elect, the market resolves to "Yes". If any other candidate is the winner, the market resolves to "No".

Market Period: This market concerns the outcome of the November 2028 U.S. presidential election. Futuur may decide to resolve the market at any point after 7 Nov 2028, once it considers that the official election results, concession speeches, and any eventual legal actions or recounts have conclusively clarified who the upcoming president will be. If serious disputes remain unresolved beyond 20 Jan 2029, the market will resolve once the inauguration takes place and the new President is sworn in.

Primary Designated Source (PDS): the official results from the Federal Election Commission. Secondary Confirmation Mechanism (SCM): If the PDS is unavailable or results are significantly delayed, Futuur may rely on consistent reporting from at least two major reputable news organizations (such as AP, Reuters, or the New York Times) confirming the winner. Resolution will follow the substantive outcome and market intent—who was elected President—rather than minor technicalities in source wording.
