This event predicts whether Venezuelan opposition figure Edmundo González Urrutia will physically return to Venezuelan territory at any time between January 1, 2026 and December 31, 2026 (inclusive). The Primary Designated Source (PDS) will be confirmation of his presence in Venezuela from official Venezuelan authorities, court records, or verifiable reporting.
If Edmundo González Urrutia is confirmed to have physically returned to Venezuela during this period, this market will resolve to "Yes". Otherwise, it will resolve to "No". Statements of intent to return without physical presence will not count. If official confirmation is unclear, the Secondary Confirmation Mechanism (SCM) will rely on consistent reporting from major international news organizations. Resolution will reflect substantive physical presence in Venezuela, not announcements alone. If a definitive determination cannot be made, Futuur may cancel this market with a public explanation.
