This event predicts whether Midjourney will be found liable for copyright infringement in the Disney/Comcast lawsuit at any time between January 1, 2026 and December 31, 2026 (inclusive). The Primary Designated Source (PDS) will be official court rulings or docket entries expressly holding Midjourney liable.

If a court issues a ruling or judgment during this period that expressly holds Midjourney liable for copyright infringement in the Disney/Comcast case, this market will resolve to "Yes". Otherwise, it will resolve to "No". Settlements without an express liability finding or procedural rulings will not count. If official court records are unclear, the Secondary Confirmation Mechanism (SCM) will rely on consistent reporting from major legal news organizations. Resolution will reflect the substantive liability determination, not procedural outcomes. If a definitive determination cannot be made, Futuur may cancel this market with a public explanation.
