Will Amazon accept Bitcoin as payment by the end of 2026?
Market Rules
This event predicts whether Amazon will accept Bitcoin (BTC) as a payment method on its e-commerce platform at any time between January 1, 2026 and December 31, 2026 (inclusive). The Primary Designated Source (PDS) will be official announcements or updates by Amazon confirming Bitcoin payment acceptance.
If Amazon officially enables Bitcoin as a payment option during this period, this market will resolve to "Yes". Otherwise, it will resolve to "No". Pilot programs, third-party integrations, or acceptance limited to gift cards or external services will not count unless Bitcoin is directly accepted by Amazon. If official announcements are ambiguous, the Secondary Confirmation Mechanism (SCM) will rely on consistent reporting from major retail or technology news organizations. Resolution will reflect substantive acceptance of Bitcoin payments, not rumors. If a definitive determination cannot be made, Futuur may cancel this market with a public explanation.
