Market Rules

The 2026 Crunchyroll Anime Awards are scheduled to occur in Japan on May 23, 2026.

The market listing the show that wins the Anime of the Year Award at the 2026 Crunchyroll Anime Awards will resolve to "Yes". All other markets will resolve to "No". If more than one show ties as the award winner, both winners will resolve to "Yes".

The Primary Designated Source (PDS) will be the broadcast of the 2026 Crunchyroll Anime Awards and the official Crunchyroll website (https://www.crunchyroll.com/). If the PDS is ambiguous, delayed, or unavailable, Futuur will use a Secondary Confirmation Mechanism (SCM) based on reporting consensus from major independent outlets such as Variety, The Hollywood Reporter, Deadline, or AP News. Minor technical discrepancies will not affect the decisions — the substantive outcome prevails.
