This event predicts the total number of European Union (EU) accession negotiating chapters that Montenegro will have provisionally closed by December 31, 2026 23:59:59 UTC. Montenegro's accession negotiations cover 33 chapters under the EU acquis. Each market below corresponds to one count range; exactly one will resolve "Yes".

The Primary Designated Source is the European Commission's Directorate-General for Neighbourhood and Enlargement Negotiations (DG NEAR) — specifically the official Montenegro accession status page and the EU Council's reports on Montenegro's accession.

Chapters that are temporarily closed, re-opened, or under interim benchmarks do not count as closed. Chapters 34 (Institutions) and 35 (Other Issues) do not count for the purposes of this event.
